A single SMR power station will typically  occupy the footprint of two football pitches and power approximately one million homes. It can support both on-grid electricity and a range of off-grid clean energy solutions, enabling the decarbonisation of industrial processes and the production of clean fuels.

 

Small Modular Reactor (SMR)

        SMR nuclear power plants are nuclear reactors with a capacity of less than  300 MW. They are modular and fully assembled from the factory. They can be transported by truck or train for easy installation in the desired location.
