 Arahan ICAO. Montréal, 7 Oktober 2022 –Negara-negara Anggota ICAO mengadopsi tujuan aspirasi global jangka panjang kolektif (LTAG) emisi karbon nol bersih di industri penerbangan pada tahun 2050. LTAG ini akan mahal, oleh karena itu modus operandi yang memungkinkan adalah pencemar membayar untuk menyediakan dana yang diperlukan untuk berinvestasi dan memenuhi tantangan nol karbon bersih; pada dasarnya biaya investasi Karbon Net Zero tidak boleh berdampak pada investasi sekolah, rumah sakit, jalan.

Konsep Utama dari IATA. Gabungkan mode operasi (bagaimana fasilitas akan digunakan) yang mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan, efisiensi, dan pada akhirnya ukuran yang diperlukan. Gunakan teknologi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses bandara dan mendorong untuk mengurangi jejak lingkungan.

Mencapai Nol Bersih KarbonKita harus mengikuti jejak negara-negara Eropa dan investasi Carbon Net Zero kita dibayar oleh mereka yang menggunakan fasilitas Bandara kita. Tentu saja jumlah Retribusi yang kami bebankan harus realistis dan investasi untuk mencapai Carbon Net Zero dilakukan selama 20 tahun ke depan.
Oleh karena itu, kita harus mulai sekarang pada program 20 tahun dan meminimalkan biaya tahunan untuk mencapai LTAG 2050. Keterlambatan menyebabkan lebih banyak polusi, tetapi juga setiap Retri/Pajak penumpang Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia akan semakin tinggi semakin lama kita menunggu untuk memulai investasi, yaitu dengan periode investasi yang lebih pendek. 

Berinvestasi di 3 bidang:

• EFISIENSI, (berinvestasi untuk mengurangi konsumsi listrik)
• ENERGI TERBARUKAN, (berinvestasi di Tenaga Surya, Panas Bumi, Pasang Surut, Angin, SMR, Hidro)
• TEKNOLOGI BARU. (berinvestasi dalam EV, fasilitas SAF, sel bahan bakar hidrogen, Biometrik Penumpang)

ICAO directive. Montréal, 7 October 2022 –ICAO Member States adopted a collective long-term global aspirational goal (LTAG) of net-zero carbon emissions in the aviation industry by 2050. This LTAG will be expensive, hence the modus operandi where-ever possible should be that the polluter pays to provide the necessary funds to invest and meet the carbon net-zero challenges; fundamentally the Carbon Net Zero investment costs must not impact on schools, hospital, roads investments.

Key Concepts from IATA. 

Incorporate a mode of operations (how the facility will be used) that optimizes utilization, efficiency, and ultimately the required size. 

Use technology to increase the efficiency of airport processes and drive to reduce the environmental footprint.

Achieving Carbon Net Zero

We must follow the lead of the European nations and have our Carbon Net Zero investment paid by those that use our Airport facility. Of course the Levy amount we charge has to be realistic and the investments to achieve Carbon Net Zero made over the next 20 years.

Consequently, we must start now on a 20 year program and minimize the annual costs to achieve the 2050 LTAG. Delays are causing even more pollution, but also any Indonesian Environmental passenger Levy/Tax will be higher the longer we wait to start the investment, ie with a shorter investment period. Invest in 3 areas:

· EFFICIENCY, (invest to reduce electricity consumption)

· RENEWABLE ENERGY, (invest in Solar, Geo Thermal, Tidal, Wind, SMR, Hydro)

· NEW TECHNOLOGY. (invest in EV, SAF facility, Hydrogen fuel cells, Passenger Biometrics)
