Coal is the number one provider of Energy in Indonesia at 62% of total output. Moving from Coal to Renewable Energy will not be achieved at the flick of a switch, ie for financial as well as practical reasons. Therefore investment to "clean" the present coal industry has merit and is achievable with the objective to relieve carbon emissions and minimise the direct pollution affecting the Indonesian population.
